Hatha & Explorations

  • A breath-centered and mindful practice, offering space to land and reconnect. Each class follows a theme and weaves in classical asanas, approached with awareness and curiosity. Through conscious breathing and gentle observation of the mind, you’re invited to explore movement without striving—meeting yourself just as you are. Suitable for all levels, this practice nurtures presence over performance.

  • Tantra Hatha invites you to honor the body as a doorway to consciousness. Rooted in the Tantric tradition, this practice weaves movement, breath, and energy into pathways of presence and the experience of the sacred in everyday life.

  • Grounded in the structure of classical Hatha Yoga and enriched by the principles of Katonah Yoga, this class offers a thoughtful blend of alignment, breath, and metaphor to help you better understand and inhabit your body.

Using Katonah’s signature tools—geometry, props, and imaginative language—you’ll explore familiar postures in new ways, focusing on form over flow, stability over stretch. Expect creative use of props and lots of adjustments, with an emphasis on organizing the body for longevity, volume, and ease.

This class is perfect for students looking to deepen their practice, refine alignment, like adjustments and are curious to explore.

Dynamic flows

  • A dynamic, breath-led flow centered on meditation in motion.Vinyasa, meaning “to place in a special way,” invites you to move with awareness and intention — meeting yourself through the unfolding of body, mind, and soul.

  • A soulful class that meets you where you are. Rooted in yogic tradition and shaped by each teacher’s unique voice, Soul Flow offers a space to explore movement, stillness, and breath in ways that support your inner rhythm.

Each class is a distinct expression — guided by the teacher’s own path and practice.

  • Designed to recharge your body and mind, this session offers a perfect midday reset. You'll flow through a series of gentle yet energizing yoga poses, focusing on breath awareness and relaxation techniques to reduce stress and increase vitality.

Reset & Restore

  • A slow, restorative practice inviting deep release through the fascia and connective tissue. Using the openness created in the body, we then move into different meditation techniques to cultivate stillness of the mind.

  • A 60-minute class to release, regulate, and return to a state of balance. We begin with 25 minutes of somatic movement to awaken the body and gently discharge tension, followed by 25 minutes of breathwork using evidence-based techniques to support vagal tone and activate the parasympathetic nervous system.Description text goes here

In these private sessions, Erica gently guides you through somatic breathwork to release stored tension, emotions, and energetic blockages. Each session begins with grounding and gentle movement to prepare the body, followed by deep, connected breathing to open the pathways of release and renewal.

Private breathwork is an invitation to reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence — a space for healing, clarity, and transformation.

  • In a 1:1 sound healing session with Renata, the vibrations of crystal bowls and other live instruments gently move through the body, revealing and releasing what the nervous system and tissues may be holding. This process supports regulation, energetic realignment, and emotional balance — guiding you back to presence.

The practice is an invitation to reconnect with your inner truth — beyond tension, beyond stories — to meet yourself with clarity, spaciousness, and ease. Renata holds a grounded, nurturing space, guided by her gentle and expansive presence.

We Appreciate Your Feedback

I’ve been practicing at this yoga school with my husband for almost two years, and we couldn’t be happier. I love the variety of teachers and styles – each class feels unique, yet all the teachers are so skilled, caring, and attentive. They take the time to adjust and guide you, which makes it so much easier to find the right alignment and grow in your practice over time. There’s also a great selection of classes to explore, which makes it easy to try out many different varieties of yoga and keep your practice inspiring 🤩

I've been practicing at Soul City for over two years now and it's definitely my favourite yoga studio in Zurich! I especially like the variety of classes on offer, and I always find the teachers very friendly and attentive during class. Erica and Sinah's classes are my favourite - they are always thoughtfully planned and suitably challenging. I also really like that their classes often follow a theme that carries on over a series of weeks. Highly recommend!
